You have decided to lease your technology investments, but from whom do you
lease it?
There are essentially three types of lessors: Captive, Banks and Independent
Lessors.
-
Captive, or sometimes called Vendor Lessors, are subsidiaries of manufacturing
companies. Captives own the equipment and rent it to you.
-
Banks can also arrange a lease. Banks specialize in providing funds on a wide
range of equipment, but must work within the bank’s regulatory environment.
-
Independent Lessors, or Third-Party Lessors, are not tied to any manufacturer
and can lease any type of equipment. While Independents must follow regulatory
requirements, they often have more flexibility with their lease structure.
Fidelity National Capital is a highly reputable Independent
Lessor.
To ensure you have selected a suitable leasing partner, take the
appropriate amount of time to evaluate what type of company can meet your
financial and strategic objectives.
